#TechTipTuesday - Get Blogging, it's #NaBloPoMo

National Blog Post Month starts today!

Today I will take a look at a few Blogging tools available to you:

Wordpress - Free
Tool: Wordpress is a free service, with some powerful back end tools to make a blog look and function the way you want it to. Currently powering 25% of websites on the internet now.
User: I would recommend Wordpress for a more technically minded individual. Choose from the plethora of  premade designs or customize your own. Once you've got it looking the way you want simply click new post and get writing. If you are not a fan of using Google services then this is the blogging tool for you.

Blogger - Free
Tool: Blogger is Google's blogging service. If you have a Google account, then you are a few short clicks away from blogging (This is a Blogger blog)
User: This is a very user friendly tool with a very simple functionality with all the power of Google backing it. You can change the look of your blog with ease as well as get data on all views and sources. Simply click new post and begin writing.

Medium- Free (publishing tool)
Tool: If you are a writing purest, then look no further than Medium. Medium is a publishing tool, designed around writing. There is no site to setup, just create an account, write, and publish. Medium is built around a community which allows users to highlight sections of your writing, tweet it out, ask questions, and leave comments.
User: If you are wanting to just write and connect with others with ease, then create a Medium account, follow others, tag your posts and share.

Weebly - Free (Website)
Tool: Want something a little more robust than just a blog, then check out Weebly, free website creator. While Weebly allows you to build a multi page website, one of it's pages/functions can also be a blog.
User: This tool is very user friendly for those of you wanting to create an entire site/resource for organization or sharing.

Happy Blog posting, and don't forget to share using the hashtag: #NaBloPoMo

Stay tuned, and stay connected.
